As far as is in our power, we ship out all orders the same day they are placed, if the order is paid for before 1PM.
Orders paid for after 1PM will be shipped out the following working day.
Our warehouse is not open for shipping on weekends or public holidays.
We will cover the cost of delivery within South Africa, via door-to-door courier for orders over R799.
The couriers usually charge us between R125 and R220 but if your order is R799 or under, we will only charge a R99 delivery fee, to help us cover this cost.
Delivery is super fast, as well as secure.
We move hundreds of items around SA every month and have a great relationship with our couriers. They will make sure you get your order faster than you’d think possible.
We accept EFT, all major credit and debit cards, cash deposit and SCode.
We also offer a finance option, in partnership with PayJustNow, which allows you to pay off your purchase over three payments. You can apply at checkout.

Delivery to major cities takes one to two working days, but is usually overnight. Delivery to outlying areas takes two to four working days. Both GSGear and our couriers are open on weekdays only.
We’ve tried getting the couriers to switch their bakkies for GS’s – to make delivery faster – but they refused. They muttered something about “it’s not just about fun and adventure the whole time”. We can’t understand what they are saying.
If payment clears into our account before 12PM on a weekday, we will do our best to ship your order on the same day. If payment clears after 12PM, your order will be sent out the following working day.
We will email the tracking information once the couriers have collected your order. Tracking updates are viewable online the following morning.
We want you to be 100% happy with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied, you can return the product to us for a refund. We’ll even arrange the return collection, at our cost.
As long as the product is still as we sent it, we will either repair, replace it or refund you, subject to the below terms and conditions.
We are in this for the long haul and believe that happy customers are the key ingredient to a successful business.
Should a product be damaged or missing any parts or accessories at the time of delivery / collection, please notify us within 7 days of such delivery / collection by logging a return via email.
We will arrange to collect the product at no charge. Once we have inspected the product, we will validate the return. We will then at your discretion arrange one of the following solutions:
We do our best to ensure that the products we deliver to you are of high quality, and in good working order without defects.
What is a defect? A defect is a material imperfection in the manufacture of a product or any characteristic of a product, which makes the product less acceptable than one would reasonably be entitled to expect in the circumstances.
The following will NOT be regarded as defects and will not entitle you to a valid return. These issues would require shipping, handling charges and repair costs (if needed) to be covered by you:
You can return an unwanted product to us, provided the following conditions are met:
The product is undamaged and unmodified, with the original labels and stickers still attached;
While we take pride in offering free shipping on orders, there are costs to be covered in instances when a product is returned due to no fault of our own. Because of this, handling (7.5% of the order value) and shipping charges (R200 for major city areas) will be deducted from the purchase price of any products which do not qualify for a value warranty return.
We will arrange collection of the product from you using our designated courier services. Once we have inspected the product, deducted any necessary funds, and validated the return, we will credit your account (or refund them upon request) with the remaining amount – this normally takes 1 to 3 working days.
In rare instances where a product is incorrectly supplied, or if the product is not as described on the website, please notify us as soon as possible.
In these instances, we will collect the product at no charge.
Once we have inspected the product and validated the return, we will, at your discretion, arrange one of the following solutions:
