The GS Gear Story: Born from the Open Road

GSGear.co.za didn’t just start in an office, it started with a passion for the ride.

Founded by Brad, a die-hard GS Adventure owner, the spark for GS Gear ignited the moment the world began to open up again after the Covid lockdowns. Driven by the spirit of freedom and a love for the journey, Brad turned his personal obsession into a mission: providing fellow riders with the gear they need to explore without limits at an affordable price.

When Brad picked up his bike in 2020, he hit a roadblock: local stores lacked a decent variety of GS accessories, and online prices were sky-high. He decided it was time to “scratch his own itch” and launch a business that actually put riders first.

Starting with the gear he wanted for his personal GSA, Brad built the foundation of GS Gear. What began as a mission to kit out one bike has grown into an ever-expanding collection, fueled by a commitment to sourcing quality products for the entire GS family.
